Obversion of a beautiful mind

The sky is bright therefore I'm happy
I'm happy therefore I can see Earth's natural colours
The beautiful greens, the flamboyant reds
I can smell the sweet fragrance of nature
The pleasant aroma in the breeze sends a light flush of air to my head
Earth is so beautiful, I fall in love with her
I sit down admiring her all day
Becoming entranced in her inherent charm
Leaving me obtuse to my surroundings
"What would wake me from this trace?" I asked
The sky is dark, that makes me frown
I'm frowning therefore Earth's colours have lost its lustre
The dull greens, the pall reds
I can't smell the air nor the breeze
The subversion of the once sweet smell has awoken me from my trance
I'm now standing, staring at her
And she was staring right back at me
I can see myself in the mirror of her eyes
Alas I can see the old me, I'm the old me
With never ending starkness and candor
