I did something very stupid today; some guys at work had a poker night… alongside with the bog cheese from senior management. They were also meeting with other guys from other firms… big cheese… we all turned up at the casino and you could tell everyone here was loaded… these were like guys who probably work at trading floors at investment houses… most of them were in their mid-thirties and were driving Aston Martins, Jaguars, BMWs and there my odd Audi TT… I wasn’t no don at poker but I knew enough, my dissertation was on evaluating poker hands and developing a computer to play poker, so I guess I had a right standing… I checked my bank balance before I started anything stupid… just a little bit about 10 grand… I budgeted two grand… we sat at the tables and I’ll tell you want, I lost that 2 grand in less that one hour… a few guys were making enough money… a friend of mine from work had won about four grand…. So I thought why not let me put in another two grand… and bwoy… I got quite a few good hands and by the end of the night, I had six grand in the bag!!! So I won 2 grand!!! I had two grand without working…. We all left the casino and I kept on thinking… I HAD 2 GRAND WITHOUT WORKING!!!! I was addicted… I booked my place for the next poker night!!!

It’s kinda funny, I kept on checking my email every other minute checking to see if Donna had mailed me back!!! But she didn’t mail me!!! NOOOO!!!! It’s cool though… I’m sure she will…. Soon...
