Feb 27, 2005

Louise joined Byron and I at Bar One today… It was fun, having a female there at one of our “male bonding” sessions… and guess who joined us later on… Marie… Louise’s sister… she forgot her keys so had no choice… she’s so funny! Didn’t know beautiful girls could be funny as well… most of they are standoffish… Marie and Louise kept on talking about how much they wanted to see that new film “Coach Carter” I haven’t seen it or anything… but I reckon it’s gonna be like one of those cliché films… boy in a team going off the rails… coach tells him he’s got a lot of potential… and in the dying minutes of the film, there’s a basketball match… and the buzzer goes off to say time up… the ball is in mid-air and everyone’s staring in slow motion…. Then ball goes in and everyone screams…. Boy pledges to basketball team… I might be wrong, but there are like 50 films like that!!! The film I wanna see is Hitch… Will Smith’s new film… a lot of people say it reminds them of me… or maybe it should have co-starred me… hmmm…

I dropped Louise and Marie off and I was cotching there till around 1am!!! Watching “Best Man”… Louise loves that film off!!! Marie was on the phone to her boyfriend!!! (all throughout my stay!!!)… Louise cooked another good meal…. I was getting used to her cooking! She was now a proper friend… sometimes I still find it strange that we had done something in the past… she never mentioned it or brought it up! I told her about my day with Amerie yesterday… “Do you think she likes you?” She asked… “I don’t know you know… she’s a nice person… really friendly…even though she’s like mega-rich” I said… it was cool chatting to her on a level… I think every guy needs that… a girl they can talk to on a level!!!! It’s not always about doing things… friendship counts… she’s not like some girl’s who will undermine any chances you have with another girl because you’ve done something with them in the past….

After watching Best Man, we watched a re-run of last week’s O.C (I love that show!!!)… those shows just make you wanna be in love… or in some relationship and how sweet things can be… I think that’s why girls love those kinda shows… Dawson’s Creek was cool but they were too young to have been going through all those deep situations…. It would have been cool if they were much older….

Left Louise’s house, when I got a text

“Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, you are a very funny person, I don’t understand you, you are the most arrogant, cocky and overconfident guy I’ve ever met! I normally find it off-putting in a guy, but there something about you, I really like you and the more I ask myself, I can’t seem to know why!”

It was Amy…. she hasn’t called me in a while, neither have I…. and I wasn’t going to anytime soon… I can’t stop thinking about Amerie… I wasn’t going to rush anything… not planning to make any physical moves on her….. I want to enjoy Amerie for who she is…..

I want to savour her like sweet fine wine…..

I love brownsugar lounge! one thing ive noticed though, is that Kelly likes to have a lot of girls on him but not really settle down with any of them and doesnt like it when they go off with other guys (who are ready to commit), why is that? its funny because I'd probably fall for you if I knew you

As for boys, its more of a challenge to piece a girl (in most cases), so emotions dont come into it in most cases. Men are naturally born hunters, their task is to hunt and conquer, that's why after the marriage everything goes regressive, that's why is strongly suggested you have a deep friendship with you boyfriend/girlfriend before getting into anything serious because its the friendship that will hold you two together, when the love/lust is gone!!!

hey i'm da gal who asked bout the peicing thing......thanx i understand that, thats why wen girls cum out of relationships (long term) they feel like their worlds ending cause building up that freindship wit sum1 new semes impossible.....and now adays its like no guy wants to b ur friend just physical stuff......and then the girls r like okay hoping they'lll work on the friend bit afterwards but thats never the case...oh well

and wen peeps break up and the girl keeps ringing or calling or watever i swear like 60% of the time shes just trying to retain the friendship.....whereas guys r so quick and find it easy to let go of ur friendship

"The wise one"

maybe women dont fully understand men (just like we men dont understand you). Men are not into all the talking/friendship thing, we do it just to please you lot during the "getting to know you" phase. So after the break up, all the other "talking" is not seen as necessary. Hardly will you meet a man who will talk to a girl about all his life problems, men want solutions to their problems, women give empathy not solutions and a man only talks to another man about his problems only if he knows/thinks the other man has got solutions to his problem! it comes down to the macho crap men have to live up to. Instead of men spilling out their tears and words, they spill it out with violence and bullets, that's what the society moulds them to become; emotionless creatures who's sole aim to to conquer else you are unfit to be a man. Thats why it seems like the number of women you've been with shows how "manly" you are whereas IT SHOULD BE THE QUALITY OF WOMEN YOU'VE BEEN WITH... anyway that's life!
