Some girls are brave…

I was at Louise’s place today… We (Louise, Marie and I) were all in the sitting room watching some programme on TV… Louise had asked me to fix something on her phone, so I had her phone in hand… Marie had been acting like, we never said anything on the phone… acting normal Marie, and she’d just come off the phone to Darren (her boyfriend). So I thought, let me play a little game with her… So I text her…

“Looking forward to the dance tomorrow… it should be fun”

I wasn’t a bluff either, if Louise saw the text, it looked innocent, I’d say I was told there would be a dance floor, and I was ready to show my party moves… She read the text, shook her head and smiled… and continued to watch the TV… I’m like okay… what is this girl on about? I had forgotten that I had sent a message because it was like 45mins later… Louise phone had bleeped… as she had 1 message received. Louise was lying on the sofa underneath a blanket… I was about to pass her the phone when she said “Ah… I can’t be bothered to get up… can you read me the message…Kelly?” Cool why not… so I opened the text message… and there it was a text from Marie to Louise’s phone… saying…

“I’m just sitting her thinking to myself what do you feel like not just your arms and legs but all over… the only solution I can think of is for me to get my hands on you…”

I don’t know which one I felt first… my heart pounding against my rib cage or myself rising!!!

I looked at her face… she wasn’t even looking at me nor smiling… she was concentrating on the TV… this girl thinks she’s sly… I know she sent it purposely to Louise’s phone…. And she could also bluff that, she’d intended to send it to Darren who was saved as “lover” on her phone… I thought about reading out the text message to Louise and say it was from Marie and maybe they could tell me what was actually going on!!! (They didn’t look like sisters anyway)… and for them to phone me when next they were at it… but I thought… she could blag… I needed to play the game as well… I was enjoying the adrenalin…

“It’s a network error message… you know… the ones with the squiggly characters…” I bluffed… as I deleted the text… “Is it?” Louise said… without looking away from the TV… Then I got a text on my phone…

“I thought so…. “ said the text from Marie...

She still wasn’t smiling or looking my way….. This girl had game and she was grabbing me by the balls…!!! “I’m going to bed, you two… I’m so tired….” Louise said as she stood up and grabbed her blanket… “Errm… I’ll be leaving as well…” I didn’t trust Marie… she’s not the sweet lil’ thing I thought she was… but I was loving it… (I’M LOVING IT!!!!)… I haven’t met a girl who played mind games like this in a while… guess I’ve met my match…

I soon as I got into my car… got another text message from Marie….

“Real men don’t run away… do they…don’t start what you can’t finish…”

What is this girl on about??? My heart was beating real fast now… I had to give her, her props…. Sending a text to Louise’s phone had been a brave move… and I had to respect that… better still…make a comeback… I could have called her to see what she was on…but that would be too amateur… I had to play the game… so I didn’t text her back or call her… she now knows my intentions by me lying the text was a network error message… if I had genuine intentions…I would have said it was from Marie… so she had me by the balls now… and because I was keeping quiet about it… she thought I was riding too…. I wasn’t going to back down… I’m so loving this… mind games is what I do best…. I’d love to see a girl beat me at mind games…

When I got home, Byron had phoned me and informed me he called Marie… “That girl try give me attitude you know!!! Saying something about how she’s not EBay…” Byron said… “What has EBay got to do with anything?” I asked…. Byron smiled…”I said… I wanted to put my bid in…” “You think you some sort of Omarion ey? You and your tired ass lyrics…” I said… Byron is a joker… some years ago..We’d made a bet that he couldn't go on the street to move to some random girl and say… “It’s not my way to talk to strangers but I feel like I already know you…” The first line from B2K’s “Gotta Be”… he was meant to sing it but he just said it… which is brave as it is… he succeeded still…got a number and a hug… hmmm… but looks like his game is now suffering some lacklustre… “She wasn’t having a bar of it…” he said… “I told you bruv… She doesn’t look like the type….” I said… thinking about my lil’ escapade with Marie….I was tempted to tell Byron about Marie… but the story wasn’t ripe yet… I didn’t know what I wanted from Marie… did I really want to piece her? What if Louise found out? I’ve got something special going on with her…. But then another part of me kept saying…”You know the kinda piece that follows mind games is always the best….” Hmm…true say…

The agro is not worth it… Louise’s friendship wasn’t worth losing… the drama it would create wasn’t worth it…..

But the buzz of the challenge was well worth it….. This sort doesn't come knocking at my door everyday...

“I don’t see nothing wrong…” I whispered as R. Kelly’s soothing voice sang over the old school mix of “Bump n’ Grind”….
